With whom we share your data
We never rent or sell your data or email addresses. However, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Duration of retention of your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve all follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, modify or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit some of this information.
The rights you have over your data
If you have an account on Webgourous, or have left comments there, you will have access to the personal data we hold about you, i.e. any data you have provided to us. You can also ask us to erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
